Private Client Fee Earner

We are delighted to assist our client, a successful and growing law firm that specialises in private client and property law, in their search for an experienced Wills & Probate Fee Earner or Lawyers to join their growing team in South Manchester.

The firm’s busy Private Client department handles a variety of services, including the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, estate administration, Court of Protection applications for Deputy appointments, deeds of gift for unmortgaged properties, assents, Enduring Powers of Attorney registration, and limited Trust work, and many of the firm’s clients are repeat customers so the firm has an extensive client database.  

The successful candidates will have a minimum of one year’s post-qualification experience or equivalent, and they’ll be supervised by an experienced solicitor with 32 years of specialisation in this area.

The role involves managing a caseload of 75 active files. Exceptional customer care skills are essential to build and maintain strong client relationships. The ideal candidates will be proactive, able to work independently, and open to business development opportunities for career progression. A strong awareness of compliance with regulatory obligations and risk assessment is crucial, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365 is also required.

Support will be provided by the supervising solicitor and an experienced legal secretary dedicated to this department.

After mastering office procedures, hybrid working one day a week may be considered.
