We are seeking a Criminal Law Solicitor to join this growing team. You will have the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload, from minor infringements and motoring offences to serious criminal cases. You will represent clients at police stations, Magistrates’ Courts, Crown Courts, and more, providing top-quality legal advice and support throughout the legal process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A good understanding of Legal Aid processes.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed.
- Take a proactive and “can-do” attitude towards all tasks.
- Develop a network of referral sources (advantageous but not essential).
- Hold Duty Solicitor accreditation (or a willingness to pursue this).
- Knowledge of Lexcel compliance would be beneficial.
