Our client is a national Top 50 law firm, and they have an opportunity for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join their team in Manchester.

The Court of protection team specialises in cases involving clients who lack the mental capacity to make decisions, and the role involves supporting solicitors with case management, drafting documents, conducting research, liaising with clients and third parties, and preparing court applications.
This position offers the chance to develop skills in a complex and meaningful area of law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing cases, including drafting correspondence, managing finances, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Liaise with clients, families, and professionals such as medical experts and social workers.
  • Maintain case files and ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  • Previous paralegal experience, ideally in Court of Protection, Private Client, Mental Capacity, or Personal Injury.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, with a genuine interest in Court of Protection.
