Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide litigation support throughout all stages of legal proceedings, from pre-litigation to trial preparation.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and affidavits.
- Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to ongoing litigation.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and mediations, including preparing exhibits and managing case files.
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and properly indexed.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts as required by litigation matters.
- Manage filing deadlines and court submissions, ensuring compliance with all relevant procedural rules.
- Draft and respond to correspondence, managing communications efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience working in litigation is highly preferred.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, legal research, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of legal work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Paralegal certification (preferred but not required).
