We are currently seeking a qualified Criminal Law Solicitor with Supervisor Status to join this expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated solicitor to take on a varied caseload, working alongside a team of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of criminal law matters from initial police station advice to representation in Magistrates Court.
• Supervise junior members of staff and provide guidance on complex cases.
• Ensure high-quality legal services are delivered in line with Legal Aid Agency standards and regulations.
• Provide expert advice and representation in all criminal law matters.
• Collaborate with our in-house Higher Court Advocates and external barristers for cases requiring escalation to higher courts.
• Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client care is a priority throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with Supervisor Status in Criminal Law.
• Experience in handling criminal law matters, including police station attendance and Magistrates Court representation.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.
• A strong understanding of Legal Aid Agency processes and requirements.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
