The Role:
As the firm’s sole Employment Lawyer, you will have the autonomy to shape the employment law offering while working alongside an expert team of legal professionals across various practice areas. This is an exciting opportunity to carve out and grow a specialist employment department within a firm that prides itself on exceptional client service and traditional legal values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on a full range of employment law matters, including contentious and non-contentious cases.
• Handling employment tribunal claims, unfair dismissal, discrimination cases, and redundancy issues.
• Providing strategic advice to employers and employees on contracts, policies, and compliance.
• Business development, building client relationships, and growing the firm’s employment law practice.
• Conducting training and seminars for clients on key employment law topics.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified solicitor (3+ PQE) with solid employment law experience.
• Confident in handling a varied caseload independently.
• Commercially astute with a proactive approach to business development.
• Strong communication and client care skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• A self-starter who thrives in an autonomous working environment.
