Vacancy: Paralegal – Actions against the police
Position: Full time, permanent

My client is a multi award winning, legal 500 and top tier law firm with offices spread across the nation. One of the roles they are currently recruiting for is a paralegal to join their Actions Against the Police & Public Authorities team in London.
What the successful candidate will have/be:
- Experience as a paralegal and ideally within AATP, Human rights or Civil liberties
- Experience in/knowledge of legal aid (preferably)
- Understanding of civil liberties and human rights law
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication, both written and verbally
The role:
- Supporting legal professionals by handling; civil claims of police misconduct, civil liberties violations and inquests preparation and representation
- Drafting key legal documents eg correspondence, application to legal aid etc.
- Legal research
- Preparing, reviewing and managing legal documents Administrative support
- Ensuring that all aspects of case management copy with legal standards, regulation and ethical guidelines
