Vacancy: Criminal Solicitor
Position: Full time, would be open to part time applicants
Location: South Manchester

My client is an experienced and dynamic law firm with offices in Manchester and Stockport. They are one of the largest specialist criminal defence practices in Manchester. Founded in the early 80s, they were one of the first firms in the country to receive a Legal Aid Franchise. They are among an exclusive number of firms able to be instructed on a publicly funded basis to handle complex, high-cost serious cases.

This role includes managing a varied caseload including; both general crime and serious, complex cases. We predominantly handle serious organised crime, such as large-scale drug conspiracies, firearms offences, sexual offences, people trafficking, and murder.

About you:

• Criminal Law experience, police station accreditation is essential
• Clear and effective communication is key.
