Private Client Solicitor

The successful candidate will handle a variety of private client matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA), and Probate, while contributing to the development of the department.

Key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Assisting the Team Leader in managing Probate client files
• Preparing estate accounts and inheritance tax forms
• Drafting Wills and LPA documents
• Attending client meetings and respond to legal inquiries
• Supporting marketing efforts by attending networking events, writing articles, and updating the website
• Ensuring compliance with firm procedures, including Lexcel standards
• Providing financial information to the Senior Management Team
• Delegating tasks to Business Support staff as appropriate
• Completing file reviews and maintain accurate time recording

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent client care skills and ability to work independently
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Professional and confident telephone manner
• Ability to work under pressure with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience in Trusts is essential
• Marketing and networking experience is desirable
